VOLUNTEER CRITERIA

Oxford Self Help Network requires volunteers who are at least 18 years old and who are caring and dependable. All volunteers are required to fill out an application form, which includes reference checks. An oath of confidentiality is also required to be signed by all volunteers which states that all information regarding OSHN and its members is not discussed outside the office. After completing these steps, volunteers will become involved with a program that suits their interest, skills and experience.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer opportunities are available through the following OSHN programs and activities:

Clerical Support: Volunteer assistance is sometimes needed to greet individuals when they come into the office, answering the phones etc.

Board of Directors: Members with many different sets of skills and experience with OSHN programs and activities in the community may want to consider volunteering on the Board of Directors.
