Volunteer of the Year

Susan McLellan was awarded Volunteer of the year 1997-98. Susan McLellan is responsible for the birth of the Volunteer Woodstock & Area Chapter here in Oxford. Both she and her husband have been running Child Find since the beginning, and the office is located in their home. In her first year with Child Find Susan has put in over 275 hours, and works full time as well. She has a 5 year old son named Myles, who is the joy of her life. Susan takes her son with her to the events every chance she gets.

Susan's dedication, concern, loyalty and her over all sense of responsibility for her community really comes through out doing her public speaking engagements across Oxford. Susan is also the media/events co-ordinator for the Chapter. She is involved with education, but not as much as she would like. It is with great honour we present this award to her. Firstly, for making this Chapter possible and secondly for giving up so much of her family time to see that the Chapters events where properly taken care of.
